A practicing artist for more than twenty years, my painting career became full time
in 2000; since then I've received more than 25 awards from First Place to Honorable Mention. Along with my busy painting scedule I teach individual and group classes at my Chamblee studio and at local art schools.
The human figure is my favorite subject because of its complexity and enduring emotional power but I also enjoy painting landscapes and still lifes. In addition to my primary medium of pastel I work in charcoal, graphite, and color pencil.
